Casa Azur

Timisoara 190 mp 2024

Brief

After many years spent in London, in an elegant, eclectic English-style apartment, the owners chose to resettle in Romania and design their home, keeping a touch of the style they had grown accustomed to.

The house was built more than 10 years ago, but the interior design work only began in 2023. The result is elegant and welcoming, combining different colours and textures.

Living room

The clients wanted the living area to have a warm, welcoming atmosphere, but at the same time a refined overall look. We opted for decorative mouldings, herringbone parquet, wallpaper in some areas and carefully selected fabrics. Since the room has a curved, windowed central bay that serves as a reading nook, one challenge in this space was where to place the TV. How did we solve it? The solution was to propose a freestanding TV with an unusual look that mimics a picture frame.
