Brief
For this house in the west of the country, in Timiș County, on an extremely generous plot of land, the clients wanted a modern single-storey home with a design unique to the geographical area in which it sits.
Every room was thought through in detail, each with its own personality, yet in harmony with the rest of the house.
The house comprises the following rooms:
- 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and dressing rooms
- a spacious living room that flows into the dining area
- a kitchen overlooking an inner courtyard
- an outdoor kitchen with a dining area
- a lounge room with a bar
- 2 additional bathrooms
- an outdoor shower for the warm season
- an office
- a 3-car garage and other technical spaces
Most of the rooms connect to the house's covered terrace.
Living room
The living area offers an open, bright atmosphere with a wide opening onto the terrace. The centrepiece is the generous sofa, which can seat several people. Connected to the living room is the dining area, closely linked to the kitchen, a space set apart by a bookcase with glazed strips.
On the opposite side is the lounge area, separated by a folding door which, once opened, creates a continuous space between the two rooms.
Kitchen + dining and hallway
With a generous area of 42 square metres, the kitchen stands out for its carefully chosen textures, combined with plenty of natural light. Each wall in this space connects to another area of the house. Beyond it, separated by a metal-framed glass door, lies the dining area. Surrounded by two glazed walls that connect it to the outdoors, this area puts the focus on the glass table with its unusual metal legs and on the light fixture, which follows the same linear approach.
Continuing on from the dining area is a long hallway linking the living areas of the house with the bedrooms.
Lounge + office
The client wanted a more private area they could retreat to from the main living area at any time, or where they could receive a client of their own at home without the visitor having to enter the family's living room, staying within the office and lounge.
In dark colours, with marble and glass accents, this room also features a mini bar. It is closely linked to the barbecue area on the terrace.
