Brief

This is the home of a young couple with 2 children, a house laid out mostly on the ground floor, with the exception of the children's play area, which is located in the attic.

The brief was for a design with Scandinavian influences and an airy, modern feel.

Living room

The living area is generously sized and stands out for its very high ceiling, surrounded by expansive glazing. As the owners are sociable people with a large extended family, the living space was designed to be as airy as possible, yet able to accommodate as many people as possible. Closely connected to it is the dining area, with a long table offering plenty of seating.

Master bedroom + bathroom

The master bedroom is made up of an open dressing area + a sleeping area. We opted for a wall-to-wall bed, complemented by a striking wallpaper with nature-inspired motifs. The en-suite bathroom is a simple one with a splash of colour, comprising a bathtub, a walk-in shower and a washbasin area.

Hallway

At the entrance to the house stands this piece of furniture, designed specifically for the space it occupies. My aim was to create a statement hallway cabinet that would also be highly functional.
